More than a Property: The Story Told

THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE nestled in a special town surrounded by the majesty of the Columbia Mountains.

The custom designed residence on the second floor overlooks Revelstoke’s historical downtown core and is customarily known as 200 Revelstoke. It is a beautifully finished two-bedroom, 3,905 square foot home in the centre of what has become Canada’s newest resort municipality.

200 Revelstoke was built in 2008 and yet its design is distinctly old world, paying tribute to the town’s colourful pioneering heritage. The people behind the vision are native Texans, Steve and Pat Platt, who are lovers of the mountains, Canadiana and a relaxed lifestyle.

Their exemplary work has not gone unnoticed. In 2009, the City of Revelstoke awarded 200 Revelstoke with a prestigious Heritage Award, recognizing its ability to capture and reflect the spirit of Revelstoke’s architectural heritage.
